The Man behind the Genius

In the unsuspecting year of 1993, the world was introduced to the hit TV Series, SeaQuest DSV. What was even more unsuspecting was the impact of a young man's presence on that show known as Lucas Wolenczak. Played by the talented actor, Jonathan Brandis, Lucas continued on for the next few years as the resident child genius as well as teen hearthrob.
Somehow, in between playing the hero and main attention of millions of fans, Lucas warmed our hearts and brought us many a humourous moments as well as touching ones. However, the brilliance behind his charisma and life was of course, Jonathan Gregory Brandis.
Born on 13 April, 1976, Jonathan (or Jon as many of his friends and fans called him) started acting since the age of five and held an impressive resume. Acting alongside actors like Rob Scheider, Sean Murray, Chuck Norris, Melissa Joan Hart, Angela Lansbury as well as Tatyana Ali- Jon always amazed us with his brilliance as an actor. Not only that, he gave his voice and energy into the much beloved character of Disney's animated TV Series, Aladdin as the cool and calm Mozenrath. Jon was also into writing and directing.
Sadly, on 12 November, 2003, Jon left the world and everyone who loved him. He was 27 years old and the only son.
He will always be remembered and missed by his family, friends and not forgetting his fans.

The Man Who Gave Much

After the sad and sudden departure of Jon, a group of his fans came together to celebrate his life and mourn his death. Over the years, these group of fans have become something other than just fans of Jon but each other's friends and family.
One particular man stood out, and he was Brian McArthur.
Brian was always there for anyone and gave help whenever he could, spreading the Jon-Joy to wherever he could and when he was capable of doing so. He was generous and a sharp witted man, thinking humbly of himself but highly of his friends.
On November 5, 2005, Brian was taken from us just as suddenly as Jon had been.
A loving, grandfather, father, son, brother and friend, he will always be missed and be close to our hearts.
